For the cover of The Trinity from Tørring, I created a custom illustration that reflects the novel’s unique blend of Western social realism and Eastern mysticism. The artwork was first drawn entirely by hand, allowing for an organic and personal visual style, before being carefully refined and processed digitally for the final cover design.
The result is a distinctive illustration that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern digital techniques, creating a visual identity that supports the book’s themes and atmosphere while standing out on the shelf.
Sentimental, Banal, Gal (Sentimental, ordinary, mad) by Morten Kjærgaard
Following the visual identity established with Treenigheden fra Tørring, I designed the cover for Sentimental, Banal, Gal as part of a cohesive series for the author. The illustration was created by hand before being digitally refined and adapted into the final cover design.
The goal was to develop a recognizable visual trademark across the author’s publications while allowing each book to maintain its own character. By combining traditional hand drawn artwork with digital finishing, the cover continues the distinctive aesthetic of the previous release, creating a strong and consistent author brand across the series.
